Welcome to Gerda and Peter

Some luxury in the Masai Mara

Day 1
We greet you with a welcome drink and tell you something about our camp. Our room service staff will then take you to your tent, luxury category, and show you where you will be staying for the next few days.
After a light 2-course lunch, the afternoon game drive starts at 3:30 p.m., led by an English-speaking Maasai guide in a safari jeep.
Return will be after sunset around 7pm.
We meet around the campfire for an aperitif and then switch to the restaurant for dinner. We serve freshly prepared dishes with regional products and selected wines from South Africa or a cold beer from Kenya.
After dinner we can look at the African starry sky around the campfire and then we go into the tent, where the "room fairy" has already made the bed and has a hot water bottle ready for you.
Day 2
On the 2nd day it starts very early in the morning, around 5 a.m. you will be picked up by the balloon attendants and then the exciting and uplifting ride in the hot air balloon over the Maasai Mara with the sunrise starts.
After landing, a champagne bush breakfast awaits you. You will be back at camp by around 10:30 am.
Today we serve lunch around 1.30 p.m. and in the afternoon we go on game drive again.
We spend the evening as the day before.
Day 3
On the 3rd day you will be woken up around 6 a.m. with coffee / tea or hot chocolate and biscuits, then you will go on a morning game drive in the park.
Today after lunch we will drive to a nearby farm and saddle the horses, you will ride (even beginners) for about 2 hours, with an experienced horse guide, between giraffes, gazelles and zebras. After that we are waiting for you with a sundowner with selected drinks and finger food and watch the sunset.
Evening program as the day before.
Day 4
On the 4th day you can sleep a little longer, we have breakfast today at around 7 a.m. in the camp and then set off on a full-day excursion to the Mara River to marvel at the hippos and crocodiles, of course there are all the other animals to see on the trip . Return is in the late afternoon.
Today we meet again at the campfire to see a performance by the Maasai.
Customs are explained and the Maasai culture is talked about and questions are gladly answered.
We end the evening after dinner around the campfire with a nightcap.

Optionally we offer you a "Bush-Bath" including a bottle of wine.
A BUSH BATH?
Day 5
Today on the 5th day you have the opportunity to go on a game drive again. Optionally, a visit to an original Maasai manyatta village is also possible. This can be combined with a nature walk that takes you there in about 30 minutes, after which we will pick you up by car and say goodbye to you.

Since there are different parking fees for the Massai Mara Park and these have to be paid on arrival at the respective gate or at the airstrip, these are NOT included in the price.
